  We had family come out of town and I decided to take them here. This place is the best restaurant I have ever been to. I would definitely recommend coming here. They let you play around on the main floor and there are gaming tables to play board games at. The 5 course dining meal was to die for. The chocolate souflee was not sweet but was outstanding. However it is very pricey. If you can afford to come here it will be worth it.

  This is our second time here. We stayed for our anniversary about 4 years ago and loved everything about it. The cabin was very clean, neat, and quaint! The fireplace is a favourite! Now for the food...every spoonful was to die for. Enough said! We will be back for a third visit soon!!!

  If you are looking for EVERYTHING you could ever want in a classy Canadian lodge experience near thunder bay Ontario. Surprisingly it is THE ONLY lodge with these amenities that we could find ANYWHERE in the thunder bay area without going over the border. And even then i dont know if the food would have been comparable. When can you stay in a rustic log cabin with wood stove and jacuzzi tub inside and then get served a 5 course fine meal made in house by a chef with (optional) wine. This is hands down probably one of the #1 choices in Canada to go for a romantic couples getaway, even in winter, and embrace the remote lodge experience with class. We will most certainly be back.
